Forever Flowers: Bouquet Preservation

Every now and then I find something absolutely remarkable. A few weeks ago, I came across Flourish & Blossom Designs. Jona (pronounced with a Y) is such a sweetheart and she creates these beautiful customized bouquet preservations in resin. Jona started her business this year, but she already has her process down to science. It begins with dried flowers, brought back to a state of beauty and preserved in a unique arrangement. The arrangement can even include a photo! They are honestly some of the most beautiful things I have ever seen and I am beyond obsessed.

The thing I love about this is that it preserves a vital piece of the wedding in a way I have not seen before. If you know me, you know how much I value doing things a bit differently. I do not think pressed flowers or dare I say even pictures of them do them justice. Like… your wedding bouquet is one of those things that comes with you down the aisle and transitions into married life with you. Why shouldn’t you keep it while you transition into other parts of your life? Why shouldn’t you be able to keep more from your ceremony?

Every bit of your ceremony shows a bit of you and your partner’s personality. The decor, the color choices are a representation of the love you created together. Your wedding day is a beautiful day and I think it is worth getting everything you can out of the venue doors and into your home. The money you spent on flowers should last longer than one day

.They should remain reflective of everything you and your partner have and will create.

The thing I love the most about Flourish & Blossom is how customizable everything is. Most resin creators have one or two molds and a format. You can opt for a block in different sizes, an arch, a tray or smaller add ons like a ring holder, a paperweight, a dish, etc. There are so many ways to keep your bouquet forever, and I think you should.
